What is Sessions Pro?

Available for Mac and iPad, Sessions Pro is a flexible control centre and plug-in host for creating and performing music. With a streamlined design, ultra low latency and performer-friendly features, it’s the ‘Grand Central’ hub that brings everything together for live players and DAW-less creators.

Guitarists and keyboard players will appreciate stage-ready features like MIDI layers and splits, seamless sound switching, backing tracks and MIDI controller support.

In the studio, producers and creators can experiment with new ideas using MIDI FX with flexible MIDI routing, Ableton Link support and automatic, continuous recording so no spark of inspiration is ever lost again.

What’s new in the latest update?

Sessions Pro 10.0 adds more comprehensive MIDI controller support and the ability to load projects created with the new Sessions Nano app.

Ideal for live performers, the expanded MIDI controller mappings give hands-on control over virtually every parameter of the Channel Strips in the currently selected Scene - volume, pan, mute, solo, send level and bypass for audio FX and MIDI FX plug-ins. These new mappings (for up to 8 Channel Strips with 8 sends, 8 audio FX and 4 MIDI FX per Channel Strip in the selected Scene) add to the existing mappings for Macros, Scene selection, pinning and volume, tempo and transport controls.

Sessions Nano is a new member of the Sessions family that provides a more compact experience designed for the smaller screen.  Sessions Pro 10.0 incudes support for loading projects created in Sessions Nano.

• A free trial is available on the Sessions Pro website and via Apple’s TestFlight.
